Camille Orlando

Obituary of Camille Orlando

Camille Orlando, 80, of Jackson passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at home.  Camille was born, raised and had lived her whole life in Brooklyn.  Snow birding to Spring Hill, Florida for many years, she settled in the Four Seasons, Metedeconk community in 2009.  A woman of faith, Camille was currently a parishioner at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township and was a former parishioner of St. Ephrem’s Parish, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, all of Brooklyn.  Her faith was rooted with many years attending school at St. Brendan’s and St. Edmund’s.  Camille was a celebrated domestic engineer and also worked as a legal secretary for Lawrence Krause, a nurse’s aide at Palm Gardens Nursing Home, a lab tech and help to her brother as a cook and waitress at C&C Catering.  With an eye for interior design, she missed her calling decorating her home with great style.  Along with her husband, they bowled in leagues for many years and relished their time with trips to Atlantic City and once to Las Vegas.  Traditions really mattered to Camille.  She treasured her time with her faith, cooking, and her family.

Camille was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Cutaneo and her sister, Dolores Santora.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, John R. Orlando; three loving children, Dominic Orlando of the Villages, FL, Stacey Orlando and her Fiancé, Tom Larkin of Freehold Township, and John Orlando and his wife, Marissa of Brooklyn; nine grandchildren, Nicholas Orlando and his wife, Jessica, Benjamin Orlando, Dominic “D.J.” Orlando and his fiancée, Kaihlee Bray, Gabriella Senatore and her husband, Josh Rosenberg, Philip Orlando and his wife, JoVanna, Gregory Orlando, Nicolette Senatore, Jocelyn Orlando, and Sophia Orlando; and her brother, Nicholas Cutaneo and his wife, Frances.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ 07728.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made the Co-Cathedral, HERE.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
